Proud team members, enthusiastic sponsors and an amazing demonstration. The DUT09 Roll-Out was a great success! The new car was revealed at “de Markt” together with the deans of Mechanical Engineering (Mr. Waas) and Aerospace Engineering (Mr. Hoekstra), Mr. Vos (Public Relations NLR) and Mrs. Merkx (aldermen of the Delft commune). After revealing the car, the teams most experienced driver, Miki Hegedus, gave an astonishing demonstration of the cars capabilities. For pictures go to Roll-Out 2009.
For now, the team will focus on getting the car ready for the event in the UK from the 16th to 19th of July.
