Being an evolution of the promising DUT06, the DUT07 was designed, manufactured and tested by a group of highly skilled and experienced team members. This resulted in a very neat, early finished and extensively tested car.

The car performed very well at the UK event. By finishing at top positions in all competition events, the team won with the DUT07 the 2nd place overall. Because the FISITA World Championship was held during that event, DUT Racing was the second best team in the world in 2007.

In Germany, the car unfortunately didn’t finish the endurance because of problems with the gear shifting electronics. The car won the ZF Suspension Award for being lightweight, simple and very adjustable.

The DUT07 was also used as test vehicle for the implementation of E85 in future DUT Racing cars. Due to this testing, the E85 concept could successfully be applied to the DUT08.
