The DUT 10 is the last in the line of combustion cars of the DUT Racing team. Continuing the lightweight concept, the DUT10 was the lightest car on the competition weighing only 143 kilograms. It is powered by the familiar WR450, which is mounted inside a carbon fibre monocoque.
The DUT10 team finished the car early which allowed them to prepare well for the events. The event in the United Kingdom however ended poorly: a starter relais broke which resulted in not being able to finish the endurance. Up until that moment the overall win was almost certain.
The DUT10 proved to be the fastest and most fuel efficient car in the endurance of Formula Student Germany, bringing the cup back to Delft!
