Saturday afternoon. The Autocross has begun, but an awkward silence covers the event terrain. Only if you come closer to the track, you will hear some squeaking tires. The electric cars are the first to impress with their silent speed. Several quick laps later and the electrics have set some tough times to beat. We’ve just driven our first laps on Autocross resulting in a 3th place up until now!

This morning there has been some impressive action as well. Acceleration and Skidpad (cornering speed) took place. The most impressive result, the electric car from Stuttgart beat all combustion teams by 0.1 seconds with 3.89. Our own car had some bad luck on skidpad, as the car in front of us spilled oil on the track. We got a rerun, but the sand used to remove the oil proved to be even more slippery. UPDATE: we were able to set the fastest time on the Autocross event!
