Today was a very important day for a small group of lucky DUT Racers. 13 men left at half past 9, heading for Kart Centre Roosendaal where the drivers selection for 2009 would take place. Having shown some talent during the kart events, this day was the moment to prove yourself worthy of being a driver. The chief suspension Hein started the day with a talk. After that is was time for the track walk, followed by a qualification / autocross.

The drivers had one round to practice, after that a timed lap followed. To equal chances and increase difficulty, the track had to be driven in reversed direction and a chicane was placed on the track. Exhausted from these two rounds, it was time for lunch. With increased down force, the drivers started driving their two heats, 5 drivers at the time. The goal was to drive as fast, constant and nice as possible. A very exciting day; now we just have to wait and see who deserved his place in the DUT09
