During the last day of the Formula Student Germany competition 2010 we have performed excellent during the Endurance. The waiting was long, since we were scheduled in the last heat of 4 cars together with the teams of Ravensburg, Turin and Michigan. The times of these 4 teams were very close in the beginning of the race until out tires got warmed up. Every lap several tenths of a second the car became faster. Halfway, something unfortunately happened; Ravensburg retires because of braking problems. Delft kept going and times became faster.

The driver change was about to happen, when the tension of all team members rose to extreme levels. Would the starting relais fail again? Two minutes later, the car left the driver change area and the grand stands exploded. The second part went perfect as well, resulting in constant fast laptimes. It was obvious that the other teams were not able to set as fast times as we did. In the end, just like the Autocross, we won Endurance! This all was the fundament for a good result in Germany. Besides the price for the fastest car during Endurance, we also won the price for most Fuel efficient car of the field! This not only means our car is the fastest car on track, but we did this with the best fuel efficiency as well!

DUT Racing leaves Hockenheim with very good feelings after winning several awards and trophies and a perfect result of 1st Overall. The total trophy and award list:
