Last weekend the DUT09 drove again for the first time after Formula Student Germany 2009. The drivers: the DUT09 core team members and Wim Thijs, our faculty advisor. Finally they could experience what a magnificent car they had built last year. On the small track, at a parking near Schiphol Airport, everyone got a chance to test their driving skills on a difficult, but fast, track. Our former team manager Stef was the first to drive, and he did very well. For quite a while he had the fastest time on track, but probably he also holds the record on cones after his cone frenzy. After driving the car, without exception, they all got infected with the driver virus and couldn’t stop discussing perfect lines, brake points and so on. It was a very exiting day and a good closure of last year.
