And we’re off! Yesterday evening we had our official kick-off for the 2009-2010 year. After watching the tragic final meters of the DUT09 at Formula Student Germany almost a month ago, we were motivated to build a new and even better car. 60 enthusiastic students are very eager to build the DUT10, the tenth car in the DUT Racing car family.

After a presentation by our teammanager, Lennart Scherp, our faculty advisor and big support, Wim Thijs, motivated the new students even more by telling them about their great career opportunities and fantastic adventure they enter. But we are not interested in just talking, therefore the Technical Committee set up an introductionary workshop. All teammembers took a look at the previous cars and had to answer technical and non-technical questions. Finally, they had to present their findings and after all the talking and thinking, it was time for a beer or cola.
