Motor Housings are ready

 This year, together with AMK, our team has developed our own electro motors. Stefan Lampaert, drivetrain engineer, has redesigned an air-cooled motor housing of AMK into a water-cooled version. New custom coils and water cooling will result in a ten times higher power output then the standard motor. Read more…

Cell choice made

The main focus of the DUT12 is four wheel drive, with this concept we aim to improve our efficiency. This improvement makes it possible to downsize the accumulator and thereby reduce the weight significantly. The improved efficiency will be reached by reusing the energy which else would be lost by braking. The DUT12 will do this by using the motors as generators and store the energy in the accumulator. This concept needed a different type of cell which led us to Melasta. Read more…
