Building a race car in the Formula Student competition is not an easy task. The short timespan and the strong opponents across the world make it difficult to stay at the top. Within the DUT Racing team we create and arrange everything ourselves. Design, production, assembly, testing, but also sponsoring, pr, book keeping and all managment tasks are performed by students.

Traditionally we are a team that, especially during the competitions, always is a little bit different from the rest. Always on the edge, always trying to do things better. There are numerous examples to show this. A radically different concept like no one had ever seen (DUT03); A car that is so on the edge of the rules, that the rules had to be changed on the spot (DUT04); Bringing a lorry with all kinds of tools and materials that we didn’t only use for ourselves, but also used to help other teams (since DUT06); Morning gymnastics, cool parties, but still the winning team (DUT08).
